Summer 2022 is finally here and we hope you are as excited as we are! We chat to Head Designer Abby to walk us through the finer details and inspiration behind the Costa Summer Collection.
Introducing Costa: inspired by the warmth of summer in Italy. Full of flowing silhouettes, effortless sets, and breathable fabrics - our collection is designed to transport you from the beach into your own home.
This collection has a special place in our hearts, with some truly iconic pieces and a beautiful storyline. When asking these questions we wanted to really dig deep into Abby's thought process behind the collection, so we could all be inspired by it too.

When you think Summer, what first comes to mind?
When I think of summer, I think of days spent on the beach, ocean swims and sunshine on my skin. Plus that ultimate "relaxo after beach" feeling you get when you leave the beach for an arvo drink or early dinner with friends.
The Costa Collection embodies the warmth and colours of the Mediterranean. What inspired you to create the collection around an Italian Summer?
Costa was inspired by that exact feeling and reminiscing on a past Italian summer spent by the ocean. Exploring villages like Riomaggiore, Positano and Fornillo beach.
We chose to incorporate a number of different textiles within this collection to create each wearing into an experience by enhancing the senses with a different offering. Our seersucker pieces are so light and breezy! They are the perfect quick drying throw on while on the beach and the Cheesecloth pieces are so soft they feel like butter on sun kissed skin.
And last but not least, what is Abby's top pick from the Costa Collection, and why?
This collection is too hard to pick a favourite.. I am hanging out for summer so I can wear them all, but if I had to choose just one I would say my heart is set on the Amalfi dress.
