Measuring your body: Use a soft tape measure directly against your body. Measure your waist at the narrowest point and your hips approximately 20 cm below your natural waist.

Between sizes? We generally suggest sizing down as our clothing is designed to be flowy. Measurements may vary by 2–3 cm as each garment is measured by hand.

Grab a soft fabric tape measure. Stand naturally, feet together. Measure over underwear or a single lightweight layer for the most accurate results.
The Three Measurements That Matter
Place the tape close under the armhole at the fullest part of your bust. Measure from side seam, around and back to the same side seam.
Keep the tape parallel to the floor — snug but not tight.
Measure at the narrowest point — usually 2–3 cm above your belly button. Place the tape from side seam, around and back.
Exhale naturally before taking the measurement.
Place the tape approximately 20 cm below your natural waistline at the fullest part of your hips. Measure all the way around.
Stand with feet together for the most accurate result.

This shirt is soo beautiful on! It’s flowy and i feel absolutely amazing in it! It’s easy to untie at the front to breastfeed and easily tie back up again. TLC really know what they are doing! This is quite an oversize top so i reckon you can downsize and itll still have an oversize look!

I purchased this in the lead up to Christmas in 2025 and boy has it got its use! Such a vibrant colour, really comfy, cool material and the breastfeeding access has been a tremendous help. This has paid its self off already in use! Very generous and oversized fit- as this was my first Billie purchase I ordered the S/M but next time would like to size down to the XS knowing how oversized it is.
I've gotten so many compliments when wearing this. You can absolutely wear it without having something on underneath, but I love it half-tied over a little singlet. One of my fave purchases this year, absolutely love. You do need to be careful though, the fabric can stag a little.

I fell in love with this print when I saw it and bought the whole set!! The design is so thoughtful, the ties are carefully positioned so that you can completely close the front if you prefer which I really appreciate in a tie up top. Great job TLC! Would definitely buy more prints! 🩷

I purchased the Billie shirt and Matilda shorts from the wild hearts collection and I’m obsessed! I went with M/L, could have got a S/M in the shirt but I love the oversized look and makes me feel super comfy. The shorts however are true to size :) xx

Love this top. Fabric is amazing. Can dress up or down. The ties are positioned well enough that your boobs don’t show through the gaps! Size down, I’m a 14-16 and easily fit the XS
