Measuring your body: Use a soft tape measure directly against your body. Measure your waist at the narrowest point and your hips approximately 20 cm below your natural waist.
Compare to a favourite piece: Measure a similar garment you already own and love, then compare to our size guide for the most accurate fit.
Between sizes? We generally suggest sizing down as our clothing is designed to be flowy. Measurements may vary by 2–3 cm as each garment is measured by hand.

Grab a soft fabric tape measure. Stand naturally, feet together. Measure over underwear or a single lightweight layer for the most accurate results.
The Three Measurements That Matter
Place the tape close under the armhole at the fullest part of your bust. Measure from side seam, around and back to the same side seam.
Keep the tape parallel to the floor — snug but not tight.
Measure at the narrowest point — usually 2–3 cm above your belly button. Place the tape from side seam, around and back.
Exhale naturally before taking the measurement.
Place the tape approximately 20 cm below your natural waistline at the fullest part of your hips. Measure all the way around.
Stand with feet together for the most accurate result.

After seeing so many lovely ladies wearing their maxi Avalon in the community I just had to purchase. So comfortable and easy to style up or down. Easy to breastfeed my little one also. Had to purchase in more colours also! 10/10 girls!
As a tall women this dress is what I reach for constantly, I love how flowy and versatile it is.
It took waaay too long for me to get here, but I'll never go back! The dress is comfortable, flattering and it has pockets so really - what more could you want? Perfect for casual wear or can be dressed up as needed.
The only thing I'm not huge on is the ties at the neck; in fact, I'll probably cut them off at some point. But otherwise ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
This is possibly my favourite maxi dress at the moment. The heavier fabric combined with the lining make it so perfect for chilly days and evenings. It's got a beautiful flow to it and is effortlessly chic. I got it in the blue gingham and super pleased with the colour and gingham print size (which is larger than the other blue gingham). I purchased in store and so glad I did that because I could try them out to work out sizing and fit.
Absolutely love this dress. I’m 168cm tall and usually size 16 and I got the s/m. The overall fit is perfect except I wish it was that bit longer in length so it doesn’t show my ankles. Gorgeous dress though! 💗

I got this dress for myself and absolutely love it! It does run large. I have the SM and am typically a 12-14 in other brands. I wear this dress ALL THE TIME!!! I just repurchased this for a friend as she finds it hard to find clothing in her size. I got her the 3XL and I’m hoping it fits well. This is a dress that you will throw on and use time and time again! A must have staple for your wardrobe.
This dress makes me feel so beautiful, girly and comfortable all in one! The print is so beautiful, I just needed to buy it! The maxi Avalon dresses are definitely oversized, so size down if you want it to sit a little bit more fitted.
